About Me
Hi there!
I’m Jane and I’m the founder of JinKin Blue Artisan Jewellery. You’ll normally find me in my North Hampshire Studio. My bench is always messy, but I’ve figured that means I’m being very creative!
When I'm not busy in the Studio, I'm looking after may family. Life with two teens, 2 cats, 4 beagles and a whirlwind husband can be a bit hectic, but I'm here for it! Family life means a great deal to me, especially coming from a large family myself.
I have been making and design jewellery for as long as I can remember, using anything I could lay my hands on. Over the last 7 years, I have undertaken 3 certificated diplomas, several in person and online courses, and I've spent countless hours teaching myself new and interesting techniques in silversmithing.
I enjoy making things from scratch and take inspiration from nature and manmade structures and objects. I love to incorporate organic elements into some of my designs and in others, the solid, foundational elements that bring meaning to the piece. I also like a bit of fund and if you know me well, you know that hearts and stars feature heavily in almost everything I make and wear, and not just jewellery!
Each piece of jewellery is meticulously handcrafted with attention to detail and passion. I pour my. heart and soul into every design, ensuring the each piece tells a unique story.
I love making jewellery that people adore and find meaning in.
I am a member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers and my business is covered by their Public Liability Insurance policy.
I hope you enjoy browsing my items. If you require any help, please ask! I take commissions so please drop me a message if you are looking to purchase something special!
