Hallmarking

As a small business owner, I do not tend to sell any pieces weighing under the minimum legal requirement for hallmarking of 7.78g in Sterling Silver, with a hallmark.  

This is because the price to do so would significantly increase the price I ask you to pay, especially with earrings, as each earring would need to be hallmarked separately.

There are however, a few pieces available that are already hallmarked and of course.  Items weighing over 7.78g have, of course, been hallmarked.

I can arrange hallmarking upon request, however, this will incur another significant charge and will delay delivery of the item by up to 4 weeks (including the stated time for making to order, which is 5-7 days).

Any quotation provided by myself for commission work will include hallmarking costs and timescales.
